Craving pizza? These pitta pizza’s are a super quick, healthy alternative for your usual take-away pizza. I made these with courgette, but use any toppings you like -it taste great with mushrooms too. 🙂
Serves 4 Ingredients: 4 wholemeal pitta breads 4 tbsp of tomato puree 1 handful of sliced mushrooms 4 tomatoes thinly sliced 125g sliced mozzarella cheese 2 tbsp of dried mixed herbs 1 pinch of ground black pepper Method: Preheat the oven to 190C. Place the pitta breads on a baking sheet. Spread 1 tablespoon of tomato puree onto each pitta, then top with the courgette, sliced tomatoes and cheese. Sprinkle with the mixed herbs and season with black pepper. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
