I love chocolate spread – and I wish I could have it on my toast every morning! Sadly, Nutella is very unhealthy and contains huge amounts of sugar! But the good news is that I’ve found a simple, amazing alternative. It’s easy for your body to break down, and the hazelnuts are full of vitamins. Yummy, happy days! x
Ingredients: 2 cups of hazelnuts 1/2 a cup of water 1/2 a cup of maple syrup 3 tablespoons of raw cacao Method: Bake the hazelnuts at 180C for about 10 minutes, then take them out of the oven and allow them to cool down. When cooled down place them in a food processor and blend for about 10 minutes, until they have totally broken down. Then add the maple syrup and cacao and blend again. Add the water at the end, and make sure the whole mixture is properly mixed. Store in an air-tight container.
