These coconut bars are so easy to make and they taste like heaven! It’s perfect for sweet cravings and you don’t have to feel guilty after. The coconut bar has a thick coconut base covered in chocolate, a healthy version of the “Bounty Bar”. You can store them in tupperware in the fridge for over a week, but I guarantee that they won’t last that long!!
Ingredients: - 2 cups of dessicated coconut - 1 cup of coconut oil, melted - 1/4 cup agave syrup or maple syrup - 100g dark chocolate - 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract - 1 pinch of salt Method: Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, except the chocolate. Press the mixture into a small oven dish, lined with baking paper and press until smooth. Place in the freezer until the mixture is solid. This will take around 45/60 min. Melt the chocolate and pour on top of the coconut base and freeze until the chocolate is solid. Cut into bars and enjoy
