I love energy balls! I take them with me while travelling to give me extra energy when I’m running low. They’re also super easy to make as they only have 5 ingredients and don’t need any baking!! They’re full of good protein, fibre and good fats to keep you going throughout the day. It’s hard to believe that these bites are healthy too, as they taste more like dessert! The best thing about this recipe is that it’s super versatile and you can replace or add ingredients you like or have lying around in your cupboard. Mine only lasted 24hours….Enjoy! 😉
Serves 12 balls Ingredients: - 2/3 cup of creamy peanut butter - 1/2 cup chocolate chips - 1 cup of oats - 1/2 cup ground flax seeds - 2 tbsp. honey Method: Combine all the 5 ingredients in a bowl. Stir to combine. Place in the fridge for 15-30 minutes so they are easier to roll into balls. Roll into 12 bites and store in the fridge up to a week.
